Okay, so I was watching “Campaign Shake Up” just now and I paused on this shot so I could read Jennifer Barkley’s bio. I don’t know if anyone else has done this, but it provided some hilarity so I thought I’d share. Sorry it’s kind of blurry so if you can’t read it, here’s what it says:
“Jennifer Ann Barkley, the oldest of three children, was born in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Maya Ann Delbert (? Norman Delbert), a former school teacher who sold Western novelty books and encyclopedias door-to-door, and Marcus Dearly Haust Barkley, a sea captain, as well as the owner of a smelting plant. A neighborhood in Chicago known as Barkley Square was named after her grandfather, the postmaster. She is Irish and British heritage. Jennifer Ann attended Descension Catholic School in Evanston, Illinois. Life was never easy for young Jennifer. The smell of the smelting plant her father owned drowned her clothes in a nasty odder and she had no real friends because of the smell. Some say this is why she is so tough in the political arena today and few dare mention her stinky past in her presence lest they feel her wrath.”
